About CA Legal Help

CA Legal Help publishes general information and inquiry pages covering 24 legal topics across all 50 U.S. states and Washington, D.C. Start with the legal issue directory or the state and city directory. Choose the location connected to the matter, which may differ from where you live.

Some states have detailed city and service pages; others provide a state resource guide and inquiry form. These are information pages, not law-office locations. Publishing a state page does not mean a participating firm is available there.

We are not a law firm and we do not provide legal advice. We are a legal advertising and lead-generation service. When you send a free inquiry, our intake system receives your inquiry. It may be shared with a participating law firm for your state and issue if one is available. Firms are paid advertisers and independently decide whether to respond, review or accept a matter. No match or response is guaranteed.

How we prepare these pages

Our preparation guides distinguish common inquiry types, point to independent official resources and explain what information is useful for an initial conversation. Location records use published Census data. Automated checks review links and page structure; they do not establish legal accuracy or attorney review. We do not publish invented case results or local office listings. Report an outdated resource or factual error.

Find your issue and location

The nationwide directory includes family, housing, consumer, employment, criminal, immigration and other legal topics. Read a national preparation guide, then choose a state inquiry page. The detailed California guides below provide additional starting points.

A clear first step, wherever your matter happened

Choose your state and legal issue, then send a brief inquiry. CA Legal Help receives it first. If a participating firm is available for your location and issue, your request may be shared for consideration. Sending an inquiry is free; a lawyer’s response, consultation or representation is not promised.

CA Legal Help provides legal information and advertising. We are not a law firm. Sending a form does not create an attorney-client relationship or pause a deadline. Share only enough information to describe the issue; leave out identity numbers, account numbers and sensitive documents.
